The Milpa Garden Cover Crop is a warm season blend, and should be planted when soil temperatures rise above 60 degrees (around June 1 in Montezuma County). Plant the seed 3/4 to 1 inch deep, and about 1 to 1.5 pounds per 1,000 square feet.
