The Henes family has called Montezuma and Dolores counties ‘home’ since 1967. We are very vested in the life of our communities. Southwest Seed staff are encouraged to get involved in community activities from giving tours of our facilities to coaching athletic teams, participating in leadership activities, hosting local Ag groups or serving on local boards. In a small town it is easy to get involved and make a difference.
Southwest Seed also provides in-kind donations for several yearly silent auctions and makes financial contributions to a number of local non-profits, civic organizations and benefit activities. We know how special this area is and appreciate our ability to operate our business here and serve our neighbors near and far.
