Description
Sheep Fescue can provide a low maintenance, bunch grass turf. It has a slight blue green color as opposed to the deep green of an irrigated turf. It greens up early in the spring and with adequate moisture (once every two weeks) will remain green through the summer. If there is not adequate moisture it will go dormant and green up again when temperatures cool and it gets some moisture. Seeding rate for Sheep Fescue is 4-5 lbs/ 1000 sq ft.
(Technically this is not a mix but it is classified with the other lawn mixes.)
